As mentioned before text in BOLD or in H1 is usually given more
weight than text in normal.
In a similar manner text in your page title is given more weight
than most if not all other text on your page, so to make use of this
fact, you should give particular attention and try to have the most
important keywords of the page in the title, check out the following
guidelines.
Do not repeat keywords in the title tag.
Don't jam all the keywords in the title, keep it short and
have the most relevant most important keywords in it. (one to four
keywords)
Make the title grammatically correct, this is also important
for the user to actually click on your link.
Remember, your page title is what appears when i user adds your
page to his favorites or what he sees in most search engine
descriptions of your pages, have more in mind than your ranking when
you compose the title.
When you want to add your website's name to the page, make sure
you have it at the end of the text not the beginning (EX : Page
title tips SEO advanced methods from buildguide.net) and not
(buildguide.net SEO advanced methods page title tips), meaning you
should not start with the category and then get more specific, the
trick is stating it the other way round.
