What are Hexadecimal Numbers (Hex Numbers)

Us humans usually count to ten, then start over with eleven, this is probably due to having ten fingers, and it is called decimal, The problem with this system with computers is that they work with (binary numbers), Binary numbers are a switch of either off (0) or on (1), the most easily converted numbers from and to binary, are the ones that comply with 2 to the power X, for example Octal is where you count to 7 and then 10(oct), 8 is (2 to the power 3).

Hexadecimal is the system where we count to 15 (0 - 15 makes 16 numbers), But since we do not have a one number for a ten, we assign that number the symbol A, and 11 the symbol B, and to 15 The symbol F

 So from the table above, you will notice that 20 in decimal is equivalent to 14 in hexadecimal, and 23 to 17
