Looping Back
A website is never done,
Even if the content never changes (like mathematics for example) the
website will still need work work and more work, you can not just have it
there and wait for it to succeed. It is a relative issue anyway, but
usually a couple of hours a day after your success are more than enough to
keep it at the same level, Yet there is always room for improvement.
There are a few tips that you only learn by experience, here are a few i
can tell you, others are hard to pass along to other people you are going
to have to learn them on your own.
Identification of problems: Identify problems is not as easy as it
seems especially when the problem does not cause a change, look for the
problems not the symptoms, for example the symptoms are you are not
getting enough visitors to your website, you would go to traffic exchange
programs and get more visitors, but you are really just hiding the symptom
by getting un-interested traffic, dealing with the problem would be
optimizing your website for search engines so that you would get quality
traffic. So remember, Deal with the problem not its symptoms.
Prioritize: Some small things take up allot of time, and they do not
really pay back, for example Yahoo, google and Inktomy supply most of the
traffic on the internet, you should start by getting yourself ranked
there, since all the others do not count for as much as google and yahoo
together.
Do not over prioritize: Small things have to be done too, don't wait
until they become serious problems and climb up the ladder of your
priorities, they are usually easier to deal with while they are
unimportant. Please be smart enough to come to a mixture of this tip and
the one above it, they do not contradict, they work together to get you to
a balanced agenda.
Don't take any offer regarding your website. Not even if it promises
you the moon. Look for well known programs and companies. when it comes to
